My Family's Visit to Peru

Every missionary needs a little time for R&R and my time came in the midst of the Christmas Season when my family joined me in Peru.

We went adventuring in Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and Puerto Maldonado. Towards the end of the visit the came up north to visit where I work and live. I will share below a little photo diary of their visit!

Lima: Christmas dinner with Beto

Cuzco: Outside the Temple of the Sun

Cuzco: A view overlooking the city from Saqsaywaman

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu: Mom coming down one of the many flights of steps at Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu

Puerto Maldonado: We visited the rain forest and went Piranha fishing...this is the one I caught

Puerto Maldonado: We went on a night hike looking for frogs and found this Green Tree Frog

Puerto Maldonado: Sloth Sighting...how cool to see a sloth and her baby passing through the rainforest canopy

Lima: New Years Day Lunch with the Marianist Brothers Region of Peru
